Their love story began over the smallest espressos ever made at a coffee shop at Purdue University. Truly unsure why an espresso came in such a small cup, let alone if the date was going well Joseph found himself nervous, but unexpectedly excited. Madison took a chance to invite him to her sorority’s formal where they danced the night away. They both knew it was going to be love.

Since that faithful day, both Madison and Joseph graduated from Purdue in 2020 with bachelor’s degrees in computer information technology (CIT) and cybersecurity, respectively.

Madison has completed a master’s degree in CIT and began the work on her PhD. Meanwhile, Joseph found his career at Red Hat.

Madison graduated from Purdue in May 2022 with her M.S. in Computer Information Technology and the next day, began the move to Raleigh, North Carolina to study Computer Science at North Carolina State University.

Together they moved to Raleigh, North Carolina where they adopted Cookie, bought a house, and became ACC football fans. They have traveled, supported each other in good times, and some of the worst, but at the end of the day found a home they both cherish in one another.

The couple strengthened their commitment to one another on November 18, 2023, when Joseph asked Madison to be his forever partner and she said YES!
